What’s the last event you remember being truly remarkable? That question inspired Jamie Prince and Katie Jordan to create Flourish Events.

  • Jamie Prince | Principal/Founder

    Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Jamie Prince founded Flourish in 2009 after spending nearly fifteen years in marketing and corporate communications, serving in management positions at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and subsequently for The Cliffs. She has a knack for targeted idea generation and “seeing what’s missing” in an organization’s current marketing and communications plan. Having had the good fortune of working under three different visionaries in their fields, Jamie leads by example and provides her clients with a warm honesty, keen sense of understanding, and passion for success.

    Jamie received a 2015 Leader Award by Business Black Box magazine for “Best Boss” and was named among Greenville Business Magazine’s “Best and Brightest: 35 and Under” in 2012 and has served as President of the Board of Directors for Carolina Ballet Theatre. She currently serves on Greenville Women Giving’s 2016-2017 Board of Directors, the Rose Ball Committee and Buncombe Street United Methodist Church’s Stewardship Committee. Jamie is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the AAF-Greenville Chapter, and she is a former officer and longtime member of the South Carolina Public Relations Society of America. Additionally, Jamie is a graduate of Furman’s CONNECTIONS: Women Leaders of the Upstate program, as well as Leadership Greenville Class 33.

    Under her leadership, Flourish has grown to a team of 9 individuals, and has received top honors for work in integrated communications in South Carolina. Flourish’s community service has been recognized in its nomination for the 2013 TD Business and the Arts Partnership Awards, and by its contribution of pro bono work for organizations that include Greenville Women Giving, Carolina Ballet Theatre, and The Rose Ball, among others.

    Jamie received her undergraduate degree from The Honors College at the University of South Carolina and attended New York Law School on full scholarship. She was a Phi Beta Kappa, and is an active alumna of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is married to the long-time love of her life, David Prince, and is the mother to three children, Reese (8), Jack and Emmy (5). She and her family are members of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church

  • Katie Jordan | Event Producer

    Katie Jordan serves as an Event Producer for Flourish Events, bringing 15 years of multifaceted event planning experience. During her previous role as a Sales & Marketing Event Director for an affluent residential development, Katie gained valuable insight from the event marketing industry’s top performers and honed her event planning skills. She is proficient in concepting, planning and executing events – ranging from elegant large-scale launch galas and concerts to casual, intimate dinner parties and power lunches.

    An extremely detail-oriented planner, Katie’s strengths include event logistics, creation, design and budgeting. Her skillset coupled with strong vendor relationships, both local and regionally, ensure her goal of running successful, seamless events is always met. Events produced under her direction have won numerous awards including the 2014 and 2015 SCPRSA Mercury Award of Excellence, Gold and Platinum Marcom Awards and an AFA Silver Addy.

    Katie resides in Spartanburg, SC, with her husband Marshall, daughters – Mary Marshall and Ellen – two cats. She enjoys using her planning expertise as an active PTO member at her daughter’s school, for community non-profits and her church, the Episcopal Church of the Advent.

  • Briana Carr | Event Producer & Administrative Assistant

    As Event Producer for Flourish Events and Administrative Assistant for Flourish, Briana Carr works with both divisions of the company, seamlessly transitioning from the marketing and communication efforts of Flourish to an event support role with Flourish Events. She regularly draws on her Integrated Marketing Communications degree from Winthrop University and her diverse professional experiences to support the needs of staff and clients alike. Prior to joining Flourish, she worked with non-profit organizations throughout the Carolinas, including the YMCA, Discovery Place Children’s Museum in Charlotte, NC and Junior Achievement of Coastal South Carolina.

  • Peyton Lewis | Event Producer

    A graduate of Furman University, Peyton has worked in several prominent advertising agencies over the past 18 years, as well as on a client-side brand marketing team. Her category experience includes regional CPG brands, luxury real estate, financial services, tourism and regional grocery and restaurant chains. And her project work ranges from collateral development, direct mail and event management to broadcast production, consumer research and interactive projects from simple banner ads to complex website builds. Her peers and clients say that Peyton is a clear communicator, dependable collaborator and efficient task juggler.

    Peyton has been actively involved in the Greenville chapter of the American Advertising Federation for many years, serving as its youngest president and being the youngest recipient of its most prestigious Silver Medal Award in 2011. She has also held leadership positions at both the regional and national levels of AAF.

    Peyton moonlights as a dance mom to her daughter, is married to a caterer/chef and enjoys reading and traveling.

  • Ashley W. Bates | Event Producer

    Ashley Bates has a deep background in event planning and execution, having worked most recently for Ob Hospitalist Group in Greenville as the Marketing Events Coordinator, a role in which she executed 60+ events per year around the country. Prior to Ob Hospitalist Group, Ashley served as the Marketing & Social Media Manager, and Marketing Officer, for The Palmetto Bank, and before that, as the Marketing Director for GrandSouth Bank. At Flourish, Ashley will be fulfilling roles of Event Producer and Account Manager.

  • Caroline Gross | Sponsor Relations

    Caroline Gross joins the Flourish team with 10 years of advertising and marketing experience, having worked for Erwin-Penland and Cafe Enterprises locally as well as agencies in Jacksonville, Florida, and Atlanta prior to owning a successful retail business in Greenville for 8 years. Caroline is a detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills and proven managerial abilities. She is adept in developing and executing marketing strategies employing exceptional communication skills and a substantial knowledge of advertising practices. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Caroline married a Greenville native and has lived here since 2002. 
    She is blessed with two stepchildren in college and two young sons who are both active in sports, and she spends much of her weekends cheering them on from the sidelines.
